About Me

Thanks for taking the time to find out more about me.

I'm Yvette a qualified homeopath based in Devon, UK, working both in person and online via Zoom. I’m also a proud mum to three boys and feel incredibly grateful to live close to the sea—a place that brings me peace, inspiration, and connection.

Within homeopathy my passion lies in helping people detoxify and rebalance their bodies. In recent years, I’ve seen more and more individuals turning to holistic approaches for support with a wide range of health concerns.

Outside of my practice, I love going to the beach, reading, and spending time in nature. In memory of my youngest son Charlie, I founded and run a local charity beach school, giving children the chance to have fun, explore and reconnect with the coast and nature.

I’m also part of a global volunteer initiative, offering free homeopathic consultations to people in Gambia who have little or no access to conventional medicine. Working with a dedicated team of like-minded homeopaths and students from around the world, we’re achieving great results for the people of the local community through the clinic’s ongoing support and care. My approach it health and homeopathy is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and a deep belief in your innate ability to heal yourself—mind, body, and soul.

My Journey Into Homeopathy

My journey with homeopathy began in childhood, when I experienced recurrent ear infections. After conventional treatments failed, my mother turned to homeopathy on the advice of a GP—and the results were remarkable.

As an adult, I witnessed homeopathy’s power again when my mother was diagnosed with viral Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). After months of struggling with conventional treatments, a single consultation with a skilled homeopath led to a full and rapid recovery.

But it was during the most painful chapter of my life that my connection to homeopathy deepened irrevocably. Just before his 7th birthday, my youngest son, Charlie, was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour. Overwhelmed and desperate to support him, I turned again to homeopathy. Working closely with a practitioner, we developed a plan to support Charlie after surgery and throughout radiotherapy and chemoptherapy. Alongside nutrition, grounding, and nature-based healing, the remedies helped ease the side effects of conventional treatments and aided his recovery. He relearned how to walk, talk, and write—every milestone a symbol of resilience and hope.

The experience was transformative. One day, our homeopath remarked that I would make an excellent practitioner myself. That simple comment lit a spark. I became fascinated by the principles of homeopathy—the way it treats the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. I realised I wanted to help others in the same way my family had been helped.

In September 2023, just as Charlie was given the all-clear, I began an intensive two-year practitioner course at the College of Homeopathy (CHE). I felt a deep sense of purpose. But just two months later, we received devasting news: Charlie’s cancer had returned, now spreading to his spine.

Through the heartbreak, I found strength in my studies. Learning about holistic health, emotional balance, and natural remedies gave me tools to cope and a renewed sense of purpose. Even in his final months, Charlie's love of life and bravery inspired me daily. Sadly he passed away in January 2024 and I now carry his love and spirit with me in everything I do. I feel very grateful to my homeopath for putting me on this path, for all it has brought to my life and how I can help others with this incredible healing medicine.
